This paper presents a detailed numerical solution to a simplified version of two-dimensional stratified flow over a backward-facing step with a Froude number of 16/9, a Reynolds number of 800 and a Prandtl number of 1—one of the Open Boundary Condition Symposium test problems. The steady state solution was derived by integrating the time-dependent Boussinesq equations forward in time using a semi-implicit finite-element-based model on a 38400-element mesh. In addition to presenting the results derived on this grid, the paper also presents the results of a Richardson extrapolation calculation for a set of ‘key’ parameters. It is hoped that this solution can be used as a baseline to compare the performance of the various techniques discussed at the Open Boundary Condition Symposium.  相似文献

The vibration and vibrational heating of a rectangular prism with copper and polyethylene layers is studied by solving numerically a coupled problem of thermoelasticity. The cases of kinematic and mechanical harmonic shear loads on a section of the prism surface are examined. Local heating regions are revealed. They are due to the stress fields in the neighborhood of the points at which the type of boundary conditions changes. The temperature–time curves have preresonance, resonant, and postresonance sections. A high molecular weight, thermally and chemical stable hexafluoroisopropylidene containing polybenzimidazole (6F‐PBI) was synthesized from 3,3′‐diaminobenzidine (TAB) and 2,2‐bis(4‐carboxyphenyl) hexafluoropropane (6F‐diacid) using polyphosphoric acid (PPA) as both the polycondensation agent and the polymerization solvent. Investigation of polymerization conditions to achieve high molecular weight polymers was explored via stepwise temperature control, monomer concentration in PPA, and final polymerization temperature. The polymer characterization included inherent viscosity (I.V.) measurement and GPC as a determination of polymer molecular weight, thermal and chemical stability assessment via thermo gravimetric analysis and Fenton test, respectively. The resulting high molecular weight polymer showed excellent thermal and chemical stability. Phosphoric acid doped 6F‐PBI membranes were prepared using the PPA process. The physiochemical properties of phosphoric acid doped membranes were characterized by measuring the phosphoric acid doping level, mechanical properties, and proton conductivity. These membranes showed higher phosphoric acid doping levels and higher proton conductivities than the membranes prepared by the conventional membrane fabrication processes. These membranes had sufficient mechanical properties to be easily fabricated into membrane electrode assemblies (MEA) and the prepared MEAs were tested in single cell fuel cells under various conditions, with a focus on the high temperature performance and fuel impurity tolerance. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 本文利用原位低场核磁共振(LF-NMR)技术在真实固液反应环境中对光催化还原Cr(Ⅵ)反应进行了定量研究,并对Ag纳米颗粒负载量不同的Ag担载石墨相氮化碳复合光催化剂(Ag/g-C3N4)在可见光照射下催化Cr(Ⅵ)还原为Cr(Ⅲ)的性能进行了研究.研究发现,Ag纳米颗粒负载(负载量分别为1 wt.%、2 wt.%、5 wt.%和10 wt.%)可以有效提高g-C3N4的光催化性能;且负载量为5 wt.%时光催化性能最优,为无Ag负载的g-C3N4的4倍.此外,本文还通过横向弛豫时间(T2)定量分析了反应体系中顺磁性Cr(Ⅲ)离子的浓度,证实了采用LF-NMR弛豫法评价光催化Cr(Ⅵ)还原反应性能的可行性.  相似文献

The model in the first part of this paper is extended to account for SMA behavior under cyclic loading. To this end, three new state variables are introduced: internal stress B, residual strain ?r and cumulated martensite volume fraction ze. Several parameters of the extended model depend on ze, making them evolve with cyclic phase change. Cyclic SMA effects including training and two-way shape memory are accounted for and several numerical simulations are provided and validated in the case of cyclic superelasticity.  相似文献

The strain cyclic characteristics, ratcheting and failure behaviors of 25CDV4.11 steel and SS304 stainless steel were experimentally studied under uniaxial cyclic tests and at room temperature. The cyclic hardening/softening features of the materials were first observed under uniaxial strain cycling; and then the ratcheting and failure behaviors of the materials were researched in detail under cyclic stressing. The effects of stress amplitude and mean stress on the ratcheting and failure were discussed under uniaxial asymmetrical stress cycling. It is concluded that the ratcheting and failure behaviors of the materials depend greatly on the cyclic softening/hardening features of the materials and the stress values of cyclic loading. Some conclusions useful to understand the fatigue failure of the materials presented under asymmetrical cyclic stressing are obtained.  相似文献

对基于Timoshenko梁理论建立的非线性动力有限元法作了改进。根据压区理论得到混凝土的平均剪应力和平均剪应变关系,建立了能反映箍筋的抗剪作用的材料模型;此外,对结构在爆炸荷载作用下可能出现的各种响应现象进行了描述,以准确地预测梁破坏时不同位置截面上钢筋和混凝土的受力、变形及破坏情况。应用改进的材料模型,对爆炸荷载作用下的五个钢筋混凝土试验梁的动力响应和破坏形态进行了数值模拟,结果表明,该数值方法能较好地模拟钢筋混凝土梁的弯曲、弯剪和剪切等破坏形态。  相似文献

The equations of nonaxisymmetric vibrations of sandwich cylindrical shells with discrete core under nonstationary loading are presented. The components of the elastic structure are analyzed using a refined Timoshenko theory of shells and rods. The numerical method used to solve the dynamic equations is based on the integro-interpolation method of constructing finite-difference schemes for equations with discontinuous coefficients.
